About GRC

Grace Redeemer Church is an evangelical and reformed congregation, gathering to worship God and serve our neighbors in the Crestview, Florida community.

Our aim is to be maturing together as faithful & fruitful followers of Jesus Christ, who love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and who love our neighbors as ourselves.

Our Beliefs

Our full statement of faith and beliefs is written in the Westminster Confession of Faith, click here for the full statement. We are thankful to God that we have inherited this faithful summary statement of Biblical doctrine from Godly pastors all the way back in the 1600s. We confess faith in the Lord Jesus and submit to the teaching of His Word along with generations who have lived before us.

As an even shorter statement of faith, we affirm the theology of the Apostles Creed as our brief statement of faith.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell. The third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Our History

In 2009, Grace Redeemer Church began as a church plant of the the Gulf Coast Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). As a congregation in a community that has many generational locals and many military transplants, we praise God that He has continued to provide for the maturity of our church family in the intervening years. In 2017, Pastor Tyson Turner, with his wife, Jen, and their children moved to the Hub City to follow the previous pastors, David Young and Ryan Alford.
